Business Cultural Errors


Business culture errors can drastically hurt your business and will not prosper. Some errors business’ do is hiring individuals who have the same behavioral attitude and behaviors that are a negative and will negatively affect the business.  This could be for numerous reason mainly because businesses are unable to pay leaders and employees with what their worth thus inadequate performance.

As for two examples of mistakes that organizations may make is:

Yelling at someone here might just get you talked about in the break room, but in other countries it can bring great shame to the one being reprimanded

Even if your foreign workers must have a good grasp of English in order to do the job, providing printed materials - such as procedural and training manuals - in English only can be a cultural business mistake.

One of the things vital to success in cross border cultural change is proposing changes to key people in the organization like mangers, HR, and anyone with direct contact with customers and HR and managers with employees from that country with different cultural beliefs than here in the United States. There obvious challenges to change and in order to handle change training and workshops would be beneficial to their success hence, organizations growth and success.
